2020 was tough but here at Out Loud we stepped up to meet all the requirements of our Risk Assessments at all our venues … we sprayed and wiped, took temperatures and socially distanced in our sessions … we wore visors, used a screen, respected each other’s space but still managed to work together and move forward with our Public Speaking work.  We had to go onto Zoom during the second lockdown, and as we’re Tier 4 now, we’ll remain on Zoom to start the new term. The Autumn Term exams didn’t go ahead on 5/6 December but they have been rescheduled, which means we’ll be doing two sets in the Spring Term!  Hopefully by the summer we’ll all be vaccinated and enjoying lovely weather and completing all our exams.

I wish you a very happy 2021 … with much reflection on all that was positive about 2020 and hope for health and happiness this coming year.
