One of my favourite memories from working at OutLoud was helping a nervous student find their confidence. At first, they struggled to speak clearly, hesitating over every word, their voice barely above a whisper. But after a few sessions, something changed. They started to stand taller, speak with more conviction, and even smile as they practiced. Little by little, their hesitation faded, replaced by a steady, assured tone. Then, one day, they delivered a speech flawlessly, with a newfound confidence that was incredible to see. Watching that transformation reminded me why I loved this job—helping people discover their voice and believe in themselves was truly rewarding.
