Just before the start of term, we celebrated! The Out Loud assistants team from the Summer went to Thorpe Park!  We welcomed back Chanuka and Ruthika, a major part of the team until A levels, as well as Hashim, who’s just finished his first year at Bath University studying Maths.

It was a wonderful day!  The rain held off, it wasn’t too hot … the rides were many, planned by Achint (and ably assisted by everyone!)  I just went on the bumper cars!  But everyone went on almost all of these (not the Wave Splash – a few ducked out to keep dry!) … Stealth, Vortex, Saw, Wave Splash, Colossus and then the long queue for Hyperion!

At the end of that day, we said goodbye to some of the assistants because of course half our groups disappeared at the end of the summer term.  This term we lose another couple and then just two terms left.

But it was a fitting send-off at Thorpe Park!!!!!!
