Our centre for LAMDA examinations is the biggest Public Speaking Centre in the country … we have 4 examiners on two consecutive weekend days (usually!) It is a huge amount of work and I simply wouldn’t manage it without my wonderful assistants … they are truly amazing at setting up the rooms with easels, lecterns, soapboxes, tables/chairs, et al, then clearing it all away … and of course, most importantly, showing care and concern for our very special Out Loud students … they work through a Checklist that I’ve prepared for them (that’s partly why you need to arrive 20mins before the exam time – it’s an Academy requirement but also one of mine too, as there is much to check!)
So on Saturday it was Chanuka, Kushh, Rishona and Ruthika … for Chanuka and Ruthika, it was their last ever examination session as they’re both year 13 and have now left us to focus on their A levels – and then their joyful entry into the big wide world of university! We wish them every success and much happiness – we’ll miss them! Both of them are team leaders at Sindlesham Court and Ruthika is also the exam team leader. Brilliant work from them both.
And on Sunday we had Achint, Kaimi, Ruthika and Shaheer … we did a group photograph, formally, in the Hooton Bar Lounge and then a really fun one as they leapt off!!!!!
