Looking back on my time as an OutLoud LAMDA assistant, one of my favourite memories is working with students on their impromptu speeches. It was always inspiring to see how students approached their impromptus with enthusiasm and creativity. Each impromptu was a window into their individuality, humour, and perspectives, showcasing the unique ways they approached and interpreted each topic. It was fascinating to see how their confidence grew with every attempt, and how their ideas became more structured and compelling over time. Being part of their journey and witnessing their progress has been an incredibly fulfilling experience, and it’s moments like these that I will carry with me long after my time as a LAMDA assistant.
