This week’s question is “What’s your dream career?” … several of you said aeronautical engineering on Tuesday.
And today I saw this on Linkedin … our fabulous Ridge, who was a student with Out Loud and then one of my assistants for a few years, is now at Imperial and has just won a prestigious award!
Congratulations to Ridge … and maybe inspiration for some of today’s students!

Last month I competed against teams from all over the world in the Royal Aeronautical Society Aerochallenge 2022, representing Imperial College London.

My team excelled in both the design challenge and the knowledge-based assesment, covering topics including airlines and operations, space, aeronautical discipline and current affairs.

I am pleased to share that we came 1st in the team challenge and I was also announced as individual champion. Congratulations and thanks to my team Shiven Chandarana, Oscar Silva Hornos, Zayd Islam, Aryaa Desai and Arun Herai.
